Favorite Books, Videos, and Websites
There are many wonderful gardening books and sites. I find some to be more useful than others and try to stick to books that reflect growing a garden in areas that are similar to my climate. I get jealous of all the beautiful things that can be grown in more moist or moderate climates but have to respect my own growing zone and the limited water, shorter season and high altitude of growing in the high desert. I find books that encourage water conservation and growing products respectful to that reality to fit best in my garden. Your mileage may vary.
Favorite Gardening Videos on You Tube

I've browsed hundreds of gardening videos and found that many of them are conceptually good but don't always work out well in practice. Even the results of some creative gardeners can be limited so I like to glean ideas and then research the more tested options to see what may actually work in practice. If I'm going to purchase a product or invest in a service I like to know that there are good reviews and time tested customers who will endorse the product and give a clear assessment of how well something works.
